| Special Pinoy X-Philes DVD Marathon at The Mabuhay Manor

July 4, 2009 held a significance for some of the members of the Pinoy X-Philes as a special DVD marathon was organized by the group. For the first time, the Pinoy X-Philes DVD marathon was held at a hotel. Exclusively attended by only five members due to the venue’s limited capacity, the marathon was held at The Mabuhay Manor – a casual, value-for-money hotel in Pasay City located near the SM Mall of Asia.
It was to be a night for Shippers as the members chose to view their favorite shippy episodes such as “Bad Blood,” Triangle,” “Small Potatoes,” and “How the Ghosts Stole Christmas.” To balance the viewing, the members also view a few stand-alone and mytharc episodes like “All Souls,” The Blessing Way,” and “Paper Clip.” The marathon also became a meeting of sorts as the members finalized the design of the Pinoy X-Philes postcard. The morning of July 5 saw the ending of the marathon as four of the members checked-out from the hotel and decided to meet again before the month is over.
